EXPRESS buses at peak periods arc to be introduced by London Transport on Iwo more routes. One will run between Muswell Hill Broadway and Finsbury Park station, and the other between Epsom station and !viol-den Underground station. Both will begin oa October 12,
Special blue destination blinds marked " Express " will distinguish the buses. There will also be special stops similarly distinguished.
Ordinary stage services will continue to operate on the routes.

Rubberized bituminous macadam surfacings have also been laid on the Norman CrossPeterborough road. This represents the biggest official test of the use of rubber in road-nicking since the process was introduced.
