cancel the transport levy, Wolverhampton area committee of the Traders' Road Transport Association decided last week. Mr. C. A. Betteley, chairman, said that as British Road Services were being allowed to keep a large number of vehideg and because a profit had been made on sales, there was no need for the levy, which had so far raised about £7m.
