MR. A. H. GRAINGER has been appointed to succeed MR, J. CLIFF as deputy chairman of the London Transport Executive. He will take up his new post tomorrow. Mr. Grainger, who joined the Metropolitan Railway in 1913, has been a full-time member of the L.T.E. since their formation in 1948. News of other members of the Executive was given in The Commercial Motor last week.
