The Scania Topline 6x2 R420 Euro-4 EGR tractor that pulled CM's test trailer, was provided by Alliance & Leicester Contract Hire, which has struck a deal with GSPK Multifuel Technology and BP LPG to pilot the truck in several fleets. It has the optional warranty for converted engines. Ian Padley, project manager for A&L Contract Hire, says: "We took this on board and, having reviewed the bio fuel offering against the LPG dual-fuel option, we decided to launch LPG as part of our portfolio.
