The luggage accommodation offered by the coach is generous in relation to its seating capacity, with a large conventional rear boot and a through underfloor luggage locker to take any excess luggage.
The spare wheel and tools do, to an extent, restrict the luggage space available in the underfloor area.
Other large coach features on the vehicle are heated exterior mirrors and through-rack ventilation and heating.
The price is in the region of £37,000, dependent on specification and equipment, which makes the coach significantly more expensive than others offering similar passenger capacities.
In conclusion, this baby of the Neoplan range gives operators an upmarket alternative that is excitingly different from its competitors. Features such as air suspension give the operator a machine to offer high standards of comfort with the intimacy of the small coach.
Such advantages do not come cheap though, so operators will have to look for a realistic rate for this high specification midicoach.
I found the looks of the coach striking, though I was disappointed by the interior trim, which seemed old-fashioned. The finish of the vehicle I felt, too, left a little to be desired, though in fairness at the time of my visit the vehicle had only just been received from Germany and I would expect a few areas to be improved before delivery to the customer.
