VIr Carruthers is deputy chief ecutive of National Bus Corn pany, with special responsibility for public affairs, planning, marketing and research, property development and consultancy.
Mr Appleby is a director of R. W. Appleby. The company operates a fleet of 50 vehicles throughout North Lincolnshire and Humberside.
Dr Quarmby is London Transport's managing director (Buses).
Mr Evans is director of public transport for Lothian Region. He is the Scottish representative for the Federation of Public Passenger Transport Employees.
