• Trolley buses operating in the Eston, Grangetown and South Bank-on-Tees area are to be withdrawn from service during the next few months byTeesside Corporation. The vehicles were owned by the Teesside Railess Traction Board, until they became part of Teesside Corporation's bus fleet. The 12 trolleys still in use are being withdrawn as uneconomic.
