Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AJOINT venture is to be made by Transport Vehicles (Daimler) Ltd., Coventry, and Duple Grotto Sales Ltd., Hendon, to produce a bus designed specifically for the Canadian market. This follows an initial order from the Edmonton Transit System, Alberta, for three Daimler Roadliners fitted with 45-seat Duple Group bodies, which will be used for the testing and evaluation of the various features of the design.

The new Road liner chassis, introduced Commercial Motor Show, at the recent employs a Cummins V6 192 b.h.p. engine mounted upright at the rear of a lowframe chassis, and full air suspension. Automatic transmission and automatic chassis lubrication are specified for the Canadian models, and a special feature will be the fitting of moisture ejector valves into all air systems to prevent freezing in the extreme operating conditions to be found in this part of Canada.

Full advantage of the chassis layout has been taken in the design of the bodies, which will be of dual-purpose bus or coach design, seating 45 passengers, with step-free gangways and large standee area for peak-hour operation. Special attention has been paid to the heating and ventilation system, to meet the requirements of a temperature variation from —40F. to +90°F., and a Duple-Smith defrosting and demisting system is employed with an independent saloon heating system. The bodies will be constructed at the Willowbrook factory, Loughborough, and the first vehicle' is due for delivery early in 1965.
