spreader, which not only opens out the cover, but which pushes the centre of the casing upwards in one operation, has been introduced by A.P.A., Bowes House, Battle Road, Hailsham. Sussex.
The action is achieved by pivoting the spreader arms so that the reaction to the power of the hydraulic component takes effect on the tyre tread, It is capable of dealing with tyres of up to 15.00-20 dimensions. It is footoperated and although robustly constructed it can readily be lifted from place to place by one man.
