THE British Electric Traction Cc Ltd., have acquired control of tlGreenslades Tours group, which con prises Greenslades Tours, Ltd., H ar E. A. Belcher, Ltd., and Regent Coachi (Teignmouth), Ltd. This is the secor recent big merger.
The group's fleet comprises vehicles of •A.E.C., 'Bedford, Leylar and Maudslay manufacture. The tho companies operate excursions and tou and engage in private hire from Exete Exmouth and Teignmouth. Includi in their itinerary are tours to Scotian Northern Ireland, Scarborough,. ti Lake District, Wales and the W Valley, the Cotswolds and the Isle Wight.
Mr. G. J. Greenslade and Mr. W. Greenslade will remain on the boar of the companies, and Mr. E. Taylor, a B.E.T. representative, h been appointed chairman.
