Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• ERF is the first truck manufacturer to offer the latest variant of the Eaton S-series 16speed synchromesh gearbox.

Tagged the 14-Series, the RTS-14316A and overdrive RTSO-14316A are designed to handle an input torque of 1,4011bft (1,900Nm). This makes it suitable for all current ratings of the 11-litre Cummins Mll engine.

The first operator to order vehicles fitted with the latest 5series box is J F Haulage of Manchester, which has ordered 17 ERF 6x2 tractive units fitted with the Cummins Mll engine and Eaton 14 Series gearbox.

The 14-Series box fits between the higher torque-rated 17-Series and lower rated 12Series launched in 1994. Foden will also offer the 14-series boxes with the Mll engine
