LARNE HARBOUR is to undergo a £3 million investment to maintain its position as Northern Ireland's busiest ferry port, the harbour authority says.

The single-tier vehicle ramp at the Mail Quay will be replaced by a new two-tier ramp, and it will also he lengthened and deepened to accommodate the modern ferries now operating at the port. This work is expected to take 18 months to complete and it follows the finishing of a new ferry terminal in April.
