BP Oil's biggest Midlands distributor, Hartwells Oils of Oxford, has appointed Les Davies as its Midlands area manager. The move follows the company's acquisition of the fuels and lubricants supply business of Clayton Oils (Midlands) from Thomas
Clayton (Petroleum Products) of West Bromwich.
Davies, a former tanker driver, was previously Hartwells' area manager for Bristol. That job has now gone to Roger Church, who was the company's senior salesman in the Bristol area.
