Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Road Haulage Association is to press for compensation for hauliers caught out by a fuel cartel involving 17 NorthEast distributors and uncovered by the Office of Fair Trading last year (CM 23-29 May).

RHA North Eastern manager, Geoff Dunning has appealed to victims of the cartel to contact him. The RHA will then compare prices paid by hauliers to its own diesel price survey.

Dunning says it will put forward one haulier as a test case.
