Rocky Aoki, owner of the American Benihana chain of restaurants commissioned one of these with a view to entering it in the legendary transcontinental US Canonball Run. The van, christened the Canonball Newark has been modified to get to 97ktn/h in just over 7 seconds (0 to 60mph in 7.2 seconds).
