Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• I am very concerned at the statements made in your feature, "Cutting the Crane Bill" wie April 11, 1987. This article implies that John Dee Transport invented the RollLoader De-Mount System, also that it was developed in conjunction with Atlas, Craven Taskers, and ourselves.

This De-Mount System is in fact entirely my invention. I invented it in 1980. It has been used by Redland Roof Tiles from 1980 onwards. The design, drawings, construction, etc of this system were done entirely by myself and with no involvement by Atlas or Taskers. John Dee Transport has purchased several installations from us since August 1985. It uses Craven Tankers Trailers who builds the necessary attachment in to its trailers during manufacture, the attachment being to my design and built under licence to me.

The complete system is covered by Letters Patent Document No. 2078663 in my name. It was granted on 7 September 1983 with the priority date being 24 June, 1980.

The installations used by John Dee and visited and photographed by your reporter are all marked with fly name and patent number. Your omission to mention these circumstances in your article is embarrassing and potentially very damaging to me and my business.

I would appreciate your publication at the earliest opportunity of a declaration of suitable size and display to state that the Roll-Loader System is entirely my invention and that it is covered by patent.
