Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Councillors in Solihull are desperately seeking an operator to take over one of the former services of Solihull District Omnibus Company, which abandoned its routes last week.

So far two former Solihull services have been taken over by Caves Bus and Coach Company, and another has been taken over by Midland Red West on an emergency three-month contract.

There is still no operator for the 189 service from Solihull to Wells Green, however, and West Midlands PTE planning officer Paul Addenbrooke says: "We have now got to find somebody who is prepared to take it over and if no-one will we will have to see if anybody will help us."
