Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

"They make a great Continental truck, and drivers certainly like them"

Chris Wright

Chris Wright, managing director of independent Commercial Vehicle Auctions, based in Doncaster, has been trading since 1989. He 4k holds regular sales, on aelit Wednesdays twice a month,

which have a throughput of ----160-200 trucks and 80-150 trailers, as well as items of plant equipment. He also conducts auctions on customers' premises around the country.

"Magnums are not quite as popular as they once were," he says. 'They were the first to have a very big cab, and now they have to compete with other makes. Because of the space and the high cab specification they make a great Continental truck, and drivers certainly like them. We have seen a few late examples with the Mack 12 litre engine. We recently sold a P-reg 4x2 Magnum 430 for 124,000. All 4x2 prices are depressed. as everyone is looking for 6x2s. The extra axle on a Magnum can cost about £3,000 extra.

"We also sold a couple of Magnum 520s recently on an L plate," he adds. "Again, they were 4x2s and sold for just in,000 each."
