• An angry freight forwarder is attempting to kick out Transport Minister Stephen Norris as his local MP following allegations that the Epping Forest MP has had five mistresses. Ron Smith, who lives in Theydon Bois, Essex, says Norris's alleged extra-marital antics should lead local Conservative Party members to say "enough is enough".
However, Norris dismisses Smith's move, saying: 'No man who dyes his hair can be taken entirely seriously."
Smith is expected to attempt to de-select Norris at a local party meeting in May—his action has been delayed to avoid damage to Tory chances before the local elections.
