Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Drum Engineering has extended its Cobra range of small underfloor hydraulic tipping gear with models for 13,15 and 17tonne six and eight-wheel tippers. They are based on the same Crysteel (US) design as the rest of the Drum range with dual upper and lower folding frame members but smaller single rams are used: 5.0in-diameter for 13 and 15-tonne models; 6.0indiameter on the heavier models.

The new gear operates at a relatively low (120bar) pressure and weighs around 240kg.

Several are already in service, the first two with Holt Commercials of Manchester.

Drum has also designed its own bottom-loading foot valve system for fuel tankers. This equipment was previously bought in from Alfons Haar but with the end of the trade agreement between the two, Drum has developed its own system.
