Probably rather more than the national average revealed by Roads and Traffic minister Peter Bottomley in the Commons last week.
"The average motorist drives about 6,000 miles per annum," he revealed, "while the average household car travels 7,700 miles per annum. Mileage per car is more than mileage per driver because there is more than one driver per car." Thanks Peter, very interestingl
