whiplash injury in a motorway accident, is suing a company for the alleged negligence of its employee. In a High Court writ Barry Peason claims damages against A M Widowson and Son of Richard Third Road, West Bridge, Leicester. Pearson claims that on 13 June 1988 he was driving his lorry in the nearside lane of the northbound carriageway of the M1 in Northamptonshire between junctions 15 and 16. The writ alleges that at a point between the junctions, a lorry travelling in the same direction driven by Brian Mitchell was in collision with Pearson's vehicle.
