Gash and LRC already compete on town and country services from garages in Newark. Yorkshire Traction is buying 16 new 33-seaters to take the pressure off its heavily-loaded minibus routes, and is replacing some full-size buses. So far, 10 long-wheelbase MCW Metroriders have been delivered to join the first of six Optare StarRiders on the company's Townlink routes.
