FOLLOWING our announcement that we are co-operating with the Save the Children Fund (CM, March 161 to build up teams of transport managers and engineers to work in the Third World, we have received offers of help.

To ensure that we have properly skilled and experienced people to present to Col Hugh MacKay of the Fund we ask further volunteers please to enclose details of their career and qualifications.

While the need is immediate, pressure of work on Col MacKay means that we will not be in a position to make any positive. moves for a few weeks. However, offers of assistance should be made now to The Editor, at Commercial Motor, Room 304C, Quadrant House, The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey SM2 SAS.

If you or your employees wish to volunteer your services without obligation, please let us know now. And the fund is still open for those who wish to make a contribution. These should be made payable to CM Send a Spare Fund and sent to the same address.
