Originally a painter, Douglas Burgess, of Magirus Deutz (GB) Ltd, has become a' noted glass engraver whose work is widely admired. He reproduces the more beautiful parts of Cheshire and Staffordshire with diamond-tipped hand engrav tool on lead-crystal goblets a first sketching the scenes pencil.
