AN ORDER worth 0.5m has been placed with Chrysler UK by the Post Office.
Chrysler has been contracted to supply 2,546 Dodge Spacevan 2500s, fitted with the 1,725cc petrol engine. They will be used for both telecommunications and postal services.
This is the eighth successive year that the Post Office has ordered Chrysler vehicles for these uses and brings the total of vans supplied to 20,000.
