A range of Maxigrip circlip tools, announced by Sykes-Pickavant, comprises three types designed for single-handed removal of externally contracting clips and four types that are used in the case of internally expanding clips.
The use of extractable nose pins is cited as a particularly important feature of the tool; it enables them to be tapped forward and refaced should they become rounded or damaged in use.
