Two test reports

A purpose-built articulated outfit and a light bus have been tested by CM's technical staff recently and the reports on the performance and suitability of both vehicles will be published in next week's issue, dated April 6.

The safety of loads on commercial vehicles has become a public issue. In the April 6 number, well be giving advice about safe loading, based on the DoE code published last year but still not sufficiently widely known.

Enthusiasm is catching, says John Darker after visiting the Hull transport training group and seeing what is being achieved there. As well as more usual forms of transport training, the group is running a crash course in German as an earnest of its interest in Continental operations.

Time-saving by using fast air-operated tools is one of the themes of Handyman next week, in continuing his examination of details that save downtime.
