My colleagues and I have been bored to death with stories of the winter redbuild, Weber carburettors, rolling roads and the like, and are now hoping for a bit of peace. The inclusion of the car in a forthcoming road test should ensure silence, for a while at least.
In fact the reason for using the car is perfectly legitimate, as with only 38mm ground clearance it was just right for testing the load angle of the TFL Truck Fitments semidemountable body fitted to a Leyland Daf Roadrunner recovery vehicle. The test will appear in our 14-20 July issue.
