Barlow Handling also won a 25 million contract to supply the brewery with 300 Hyster lift-trucks. These will be supplied to 30 separate sites and will include Hyster 2.5-, 3.0and 4.0-tonne diesel and LPG models and Hyster 1.25-, 1.75and 2.50-tonne electric-powered trucks.
Grand Metropolitan Brewing group director, Roger Young, says the deal ("Project Headlight") was the result of a thorough review into the company's fleet operations.
