• The RHA is again objecting to an application by Spinks Interfreight Ltd which is now asking the East Midland Licensing Authority for a new operator's licence for seven vehicles and 12 trailers with two more to be acquired.
Spinks is awaiting the decision of the Transport Tribunal on its appeal against the refusal of the Northern LA to grant the company a licence for 50 vehicles and 88 trailers (CMJune 23).
As with the Northern application, the RHA is objecting on the grounds of the company's alleged financial instability.
