A The road test of the Bedford HA van was ^ published in our issue of August 21 1964.
Fuel consumption figures at 6 cwt. payload were 45.2 m.p.g. on a non-stop run, the average speed being 34.3 m.p.h. Carrying out a four-stops-per-mile test, similar to a van delivering goods in congested areas, 29.3 m.p.g. was recorded with the average speed 23 m.p.h. and at two stops per mile 40.5 m.p.g. was obtained at an average speed of 30 m.p.h.
