APART from publicizing the concern's Agricastrol tractor lubricants, a new unit, acquired by C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd., 46, Grosvenor Street, London, W.1, will operate as a mobile office and a rest and refreshment room.

The Wakefield mobile exhibition stand consists of a Bedford-Scammell tractor unit and a Dyson low-loading trailer chassis with bodywork by Marshall Motor Bodies, Ltd., Airport Works, Cambridge. The whole outfit

was supplied by Lawson-Piggott Motors, Ltd., East Barnet Road, Barnet, Herts.

The framework of the body is ash, reinforced with steel flitch plates, with aluminium-faced plywood for the main panelling and IS-gauge aluminium sheet for the remainder of the body, including the roof, which is double-skinned and insulated with Alfol. There are three compartments in the body, which serve as a bar, rest room and office respectively. When in position on the site the coupling gear and jacks are concealed by a false skirt.

Interior furnishings are of oak and burn-proof Formica plastic, with springcushioned seats upholstered in leather cloth. An Ekco radio set and three speakers are fitted, and there are points for 12-volt electric fans and for gas fires in each compartment. The gas storage bottles are carried below the platform in front of the vehicle and a 100-gallon water tank lies below the floor in the centre of the body. and feeds a well-equipped kitchen.
