MR. A. W. G. WOODWARD, chief engineer of the Tees-side Railless Traction Board, has retired after 30 years with the undertaking.
MR. J. R. PAYNE, Scottish sales manager of the Anglo-American Oil Co., Ltd., is to become manager of the company's Midland division.
MR. E. A. Cows has been appointed chairman of the Willenhall Motor Radiator Co., Ltd., whilst additional directors are MR. A. DAY and MR. N. ROBINSON.
MR. J. H. LORD, an executive director of the Dunlop concern, has been elected vice-president of the Federation of British Rubber Manufacturers' Associations.
MR. H. W. SNOWBALL, general manager of Sunderland Transport Department, has left hospital after a long illness. It is expected that he will be able to resume his duties within a few weeks. _
Ms. A. H. BLACK WELL, works manager of David Brown Tractors, Ltd., has been made a director of David Brown Tractors (Engineering), Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary to which the former company is transferring its .manufacturing activities.
