I pose this question after seeing a photograph of the milling crowds at the recent ADAC International Truck Grand Prix at Nurburgring which proved to be the highlight of the European Truck Racing Cup season, attracting a record 230,000 visitors over three days, Blmey! That's almost as big as CM Truckfest! (Are you sure?—Ed).

One of the Hawk's roving reporters tells me that in addition to factory teams from Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Daf and Caterpillar, almost every other truck maker was there with displays or hospitality and merchandising. Especially prominent were Scania, Volvo and Iveco. So is truck racing coming home?
