/ A fresh application for an Operator's Licence has been made by John Dee Ltd in a move which is set to guarantee interest from the Road Haulage Association.
The Transport Tribunal has just overturned a decision by the North East Licensing Authority to allow John Dee a licence, although it said John Dee must appoint a suitable financial director to be successful in another application. The RHA appealed against the LA's decision to grant a licence.
The new application is for 105 vehicles and 240 trailers in the North-east.
John Dee Ltd was set up by John Davison following the collapse last year of his previous operation, John Dee Group.
It owed millions and the RHA objected to a previous granting of a licence.
