Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Waso alarms and control units similar to this one, set in a fitting agent's CF van, can be mounted unobtrusively.

• Waso's 779 self-powered automatic system is based on printed circuit electronics and protects points of access to the load compartment, cab or container.

As well as alarming the cab and load areas via its own sealed door contacts, it operates an electronic siren, flashing lights and has a lock-out service facility.

There are versions for heavy CVs, trailers and light vans costing from £150 to £300 depending on specification.

The 780 model uses ultrasonics and a self-powered siren control to give a more sophisticated level of protection. Like the 779 it will activate or disarm the starter switch and door circuits after a time delay and can be supplied with a remote control.

Waso also produces OE-standard diesel stop controls which shut down the fuel supply via the rack but protects the pump from becoming fuel starved. It also prevents unauthorised tow starting.
