• From the special products division of this compressed air fittings company comes a simple lock for air brake systems.
The device, currently in use with a large cement hauling concern, fits into the handbrake air circuit. By turning a key the driver is able to isolate the handbrake with the spring brakes left on. It can be fitted in an hour by a main dealer and costs 260 plus VAT. The future of the company plans to introduce more sophisticated keys for the lock, and to link in pressure switches to isolate the ignition or operate alarms.
