Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BMV Industries of Clay Cross has built a lightweight 12m3 refuse body system for its municipal range by designing a narrower press and packing hopper. It uses a fourram compactor carriage with a reduced-radius packer blade and a hopper with a reduced rear overhang which allows a greater payload.

It is based on a 3.94mwheelbase Seddon Atkinson 211 4x2 municipal chassis and has a kerb weight of 8.38 tonnes, giving a payload of 7.88 tonnes.

Controls are pneumatic and discharge is via a conventional horizontal ejector plate.
