A CONSERVATIVE Central Office research officer has been made special advisor to Transport Secretary Tom King. Katherine Ramsay, a 28-year-old Cambridge University history graduate, has been desk officer for transport and energy at the Conservative Research Department since 1979, and has been head of the economics section since December last year. She worked for 18 months with an American international bank before 1979.
