HUNTER Industries has int duced a distribution division add to its existing farm, fa and produce divisions.
The new division is made of Portway Internation Portway Road Transport a Portway Transport Agency.
In addition there are t specialist relief depots at R. lett, Hertfordshire, and Cant bury, Kent handling 1,100 1 ferent products for J. Sainsbui If one of its supermarkets n out of a certain product tt these depots may be called up to re-stock it as soon as possit The division is now lookinc, its vehicle fleet and will be m ing changes to it to suit • future trends of the food dis bution industry.
Graham Haines, managi director of the new division, s that more emphasis would put on temperature control vehicles in the future.
