• Following the establishment of its Northern Ireland groupage service, launched earlier this year, National Carriers Ltd has introduced similar arrangements for traffic to Eire. Once again, key to the scheme is ISO containerization of all traffic.
With 15 major depots acting as groupage centres, each gathering traffic over a wide area, NCL offers frequent container departures—daily in most instances. The service includes collection and—after clearance through Irish custom's—delivery by NCL's agents anywhere in the Republic.
A special brochure has been produced by the company: it includes a guide to the documents which must accompany exports to Eire.
