New Tyre Station: A new tyre station was opened last week in Kendal by Tyre Services (Carlisle) Ltd. Sited on the Mintsfeet Trading Estate, off Shap Road, the station has been built exclusively for tyre services
of all kinds. The station also has two mobile service vehicles, fully equipped to deal with roadside repairs or servicing on -Customer's premises, The Kendal depot is the fifteenth to be opened by the company.
Semi-trailers for Pakistani Air Force: T. W. Walker Ltd., the Stockton-on-Tees trailer manufacturer, has recently secured an order for 11 step-frame send-trailers of 25-ton capacity from the Pakistani Air Force. The trailers will be 30 ft. long in the bed, 8 ft. 4 in. wide, and have a loading height of 3 ft. 4 in.
