New Service Centre : On August 13 the chairman of the North East Development Council is to open the new commercial vehicle sales and service centre which is now being completed for Claremont Garages (Whitley Bay) Ltd., at Hillheads Road, Whitley Bay. The company has just been appointed Northumberland and North Durham distributors for Guy vehicles and Highway Trailers; they are now also Austin commercial dealers. Mr. R. B. Tagger has been appointed group commercial vehicle sales manager.
