Ian Rogers has been appointed director and general manager of Exel logistics-DMS, the specialist book distributor. He was previously the fi
nance director of Exel's newspaper distribution company, Newsf low, and has five years' experience in the distribution industry. Ian Rogers.
DMS was bought by Exel Logistics 18 months ago and is moving to new premises at Rochester, Kent. In his new role Rogers will be responsible for generating new business from publishers who are not currently using third-party distribution.
He believes the scientific, technical, and medical publishing sectors offer the most potential.
