• Car Chair Vehicle Builders is producing its first coachbuilt PCV following a £200,000 order for eight Iveco Ford 49.10s from Solent Blue Line.
The Hailsham, East Sussexbased bodybuilder has traditionally concentrated on van conversions, but by the end of this year it hopes to have built about 100 bodies on a range of manufacturers chassis, and eventually plans to move into the citybus business.
The 23-seat Iveco Ford 49.10s with room for six standing passengers, will be delivered next month.
