/ Britain is not the only country to suffer a traumatic slump in commercial vehicle registrations: HGV sales in the United States sank to 98,730 last year — almost 23,000 down on 1990. Navistar topped the market over 15 tonnes with 26.1%, followed by Freightliner (19.4%) and Volvo GM (14.5%).
