Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COPELAND, Cumbria councillor has criticised Cumberland Motor Services for "wasting money" in its bus battle with a Whitehaven private operator, Yeowarts.

Kevin Parker said CMS was putting out "an inordinate number of buses" on Whitehaven routes to compete with Yeowarts, while cutting back rural services.

At a recent policy and resources committee meeting it was decided that Mr Parker and committee chairman James Johnston should arrange to meet the CMS traffic manager to discuss the situation.

Mr Parker claimed CMS had increased buses on certain Whitehaven routes after Yeowarts was granted its licence.

He claimed to having seen "convoys" of yellow and red buses on certain routes and that CMS was abusing money received from local authorities in subsidies.
