Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Do the lorry drivers who are complaining about bus drivers include coach drivers in this category?

The full-time professional coach driver has one of the most demanding and difficult jobs to do, and usually does it very well, but, as in all walks of life, there are the few who are long-haired, scruffy, ill-mannered and think they own the road. In fact, there are some lorry drivers who are exactly the same.

A coach driver takes the lives of approximately 50 people in his hands, has to find his way anywhere at any time, always has to be cheerful, confident and able to converse and deal with all classes of people and all sorts of emergencies (people are takenill and even die on our journeys).

I am a lady coach driver. I love my job and take pride in what I am doing and my standard of driving, so, please do not "tar us all' with the same brush."

I have had some very narrow escapes involving lorries, including having my indicator torn off by an overtaking lorry at traffic lights — he was just going too fast to stop.

Remember, a bus or coach carries people. If there is an accident our load may die, but lorry drivers do not have this responsibility.

We all have to use the road, so, a little more tolerance and understanding on everyone's part would help all round.
