THE Prime Minister last week turned down a suggestion that he should call a conference at No. 10 to discuss open liner train terminals. Tory transport spokesman Mr. Peter Walker wanted Mr. Wilson to get together with British Railways and the NUR executive.
Mr. Wilson replied that the Minister of Transport was keeping this matter under continuous review. He did not think that a personal intervention by him was called for at this stage.
